Entry #3 (end)

2/3

Well Katherine did have something to fear. Damien ended up pushing her off the top floor, making it look like she tried to kill herself. But at the hospital she still wasn't safe either, Mrs. Baylock came and pushed her out the window; she died on impact. Meanwhile Thorn, who befriended a photographer named Jennings, was in Rome trying to find a man by the name of Bugenhagen. Bugenhagen is from a long line of "Anti-Christ" killers, and Thorn is trying to find some help for his little "Anti-Christ" of his own. Well, they finally find Bugenhagen residing underneath Israel. He tells Thorn that the only way to kill Damien is to use these special knives, and he has to do it inside a church. Thorn still doesn't believe that a child is capable of all this, and he refuses to kill an innocent five year old kid. So, they leave Bugenhagen, and when they get on solid ground Thorn chucks the knives away, but Jennings strongly believed that Damien should be killed so he went to go fetch them. But while doing so a crane was lifting up a large shard of glass and it slipped from it's grasp, slicing through Jennings's neck; beheading him. After, Thorn witnesses that he starts to believe that somethings up. He heads back home, putting together the pieces; his wife dying Jennings dying, and finally realizes what he has to do. When he gets back to the mansion, he struggles taking Damien away from Mrs. Baylock, (who is a disciple of Satan, and who was put on this Earth to protect Damien) but finally runs over her with his car. They pull to the church, and Damien notices whats happening, he pulls and scratches, and does everything to prevent Thorn from committing this deed. Thorn manages to get the knives out, but someone had called the cops and the police arrived threatening to shoot him if he followed through with stabbing this "helpless" child. Thorn stabs Damien but the policeman fires and shoots Thorn. At the funeral of his parents, Damien sits with his new guardians, an snickers a painfully evil laugh.

Entry #2

Father Tassone paid Thorn a visit in his office. He told Thorn to, "accept Christ as your Saviour" and to "Drink the blood of Christ and eat his flesh, for only if He is within you can you defeat the child of the Devil." . Father Tassone finally exclaims that, "[Damien] was born of a jackal! I saw it myself!" Thorn, believing that Father Tassone was truly insane, ordered him to be escorted off the premises. Meanwhile, Katherine is finally spending more time with Damien but he is still very unemotional while he's with her, and then gets so happy when the new nanny comes. Katherine tried evrything to make him happier with her, and he seemed to like an animal cut-out book that she gave him, the best. So Katherine decided to take him to the zoo, but every animal they saw always stopped what it was doing and just stared Damien down. The monkey's reacted in amost horrific way, they kept howling and screming while trying to get out of the cage, they were trying to get away from Damien. However, in doing so they clawed and bit eachother, spraying blood everywhere, one monkey even ran into the concret head on and it's skull cracked open. To make it even worse, while this was happening Damien was laughing hysterically. Katherine was very distraught about the whole thing, and wants to seek a psychiatrist, because she's learning to fear her only "son".

"The Omen" - David Seltzer

1/21
Entry #1

Jeremy Thorn is the Economic Advisor to the White House, and he's on his way to the Ospedale Generale (hospital) in Rome, where his wife, Katherine, is hopefully giving birth to their first child. But when he gets their Father Spilletto breaks the news that the child died. This is after her three previous miscarriages, as well. So Thorn is devastated but Katherine doesn't know yet. Father Spiletto however gets word of another baby in the maternal ward who's mother had died giving birth to him, and has no other family. Father Spiletto tells Thorn that he should take him, he has no family, and that's what Thorn needs. He agrees to it and brings the baby to Katherine, telling her that it's theirs. Coincidentally, the baby did look a great deal like Thorn, making it very believable that it was indeed their child. The child, Damien, is now five, and at his birthday party his nanny kills herself for him. Katherine is devastated, thinking that it was her fault for giving her an angry look when the nanny was getting all the attention of the photographers while bringing the cake in. A new nanny comes, who Damien clings to, more than Katherine even. The other butlers don't liker her either, and she won't leave Damien's side. Lastly, all of this is happening before Damien can even speak yet.
