Entry #2

The narrator believes that he is probably holding an expensive painting, because he knows an illegal art dealer that Wyatt knows. But when he finally gets to see the "extra luggage" (when they start boarding the ship) he is perplexed because it is a 6'x 2' oblong pine box that could only hold Da Vinci's "The Last Supper", but he is convinced that the art dealer probably made a copy. However the box did not go into the extra stateroom, it occupied the whole floor of Wyatt's own room. Lastly, on the lid of the box it stated, " Mrs. Adelaide Curtis, Albany, New York, Charge of Cornelius Wyatt, Esq. This side up. to be handled with care."
